Nah, it's still better to be in the USA. Both countries are going downhill but you'll be 33% richer in the USA while your country ends. The borders between Canada and the USA are an illusion. The fight isn't Canada for itself or USA for itself. It's White people for their existence. Doesn't matter the country you're in, we're all in the same fight. @ChevChelios To be fair, Cleopatra was a Greek of the Ptolemaic Dynasty, which itself was a holdover from Alexander the Great's conquest of Egypt. The Egyptians hadn't really ruled themselves for hundreds of years before Augustus.

My guess is there was a calculated decision that said Donald Trump being president at that time would make the vaccine push more difficult. Nobody wanted to take the Trump vaccine but once Biden came along all those voices of protest switched sides.

When Trump started talking to the public again after Jan 6, he didn't seem like himself. He wasn't insulting anyone anymore. He wasn't acting like he didn't give a fuck. He acted like a man PUT IN HIS PLACE. Like the school bully who got punched in the face. It took him months before he started sounding like himself again and he still never sounded like himself. He started toeing the line but while still trying to appear to be an outsider.
I'm not sure exactly what happened. Perhaps, Trump got threatened, or was shown something. Something happened on Jan 6th. It wasn't about "oh he was sad he lost and just needed to recalibrate". Jan 6th happened exactly as anyone would have expected it to have happened so Trump wouldn't have been building up for Jan 6th if there wasn't something else at play that we don't know about. I think Trump got betrayed by his family (namely, his daughter) in a manner he never expected which shook him, perhaps. Anyway, we can speculate forever.

I think the Democrats winning is a good thing for Canada, correct me if I'm wrong, but:
-They will damage the US economy, meaning our dollar exchange rate will go up.
-They will enact higher taxes, and anti-business policies, Green/Climate change policies, which means USA will not be much more attractive to businesses like it is now. Businesses will be more likely to choose Canada, or Canadian businesses less likely to leave and go to the US.
-They will remove the tariffs
Now I feel bad for my American brothers of course, but, tbh them declining seems good for us.

Trump was incompetent because the system is designed to not let you accomplish anything. There's a reason the Roman Republic eventually became the empire. Trump didn't have it in him to try that angle, likely because he got threatened and realized he lacked the muscle for it even if he wanted to do it.

@border_humper: Believe me, I'm grateful to live in a place where I'm able to talk and joke around with complete strangers, greet the cashiers at my local supermarket by name, put money for produce in a "trust box" by the side of the road, walk around at night with zero concern for my personal safety, and leave things out on my porch without having them stolen -- but I know that it can't last forever if current trends continue
