i'm trying to stay distracted. knitting fuckers socks for christmas (spoiler alert, i fucking hate knitting socks almost as much as i hate knitting scarves, but my fuckers like wool socks, so there's that) and i'm making "baked" beans in the crockpot. glad AB got rid of the time change so now its only a one hour difference for half the year when i want to talk to my kid.

i also made some iced oatmeal bars to help put my winter weight on. i did not grind any oatmeal, because fuck that.

Renos must continue until moral improves. Custom moldings and trim work, Im the prime contractor and also all of the sub contractors. The engineering firm (myself) has been pretty good allthough I still think that guy is weird. Shits been good Im almost done, I hate floating ceilings with that cardboard tile shit so I made my own custom ceiling 2.25” tight clearance to the joists instead of the standard 4-6”. Same concept as a floating ceiling except better in every way possible.

Its cold and Im starting to feel old, but whatever I can rest when Im dead.

I use beef tallow instead of butter and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Cook at 325 for 1 hour.

Had 230 trick or treaters last night. The hunger out there is real. Was able to clean out the pantry. What kid doesn’t love Brazilian canned corn beef? Beautiful weather, though. I’ve never been able to sit outside in my shirtsleeves and hand out candy on Halloween before.

The Grand Reserve has declared permanent daylight savings time, but Big Tech didn’t get the message and the phones and laptops fell back. I expect an utter shitshow at work tomorrow.

Well this week I built two beds. Well I put them together anyway. I did have to flip that bed there on a bigger bed 180 as it wasn't the right way.

Also built my cat a new cat tree.

I also completely clean out my cat's litter box every month. I empty it out and completely clean it with soap and water. Since this house is a bit large I'm going to set up two of them so I had to clean the one he uses and I had an extra one but that also mean so I had to clean it but it was just dusty had nothing in it.

@border_humper I'm still doing stuff around the house fixing it and what not. Plus honestly I really don't have to hurry to get one.

Plus I may look in the AI and get a career in that but shit there's no certs or anything you can really get right now.

So I got to figure out how to break into that field. Honestly the true answer is right now. I don't need a job.
