I honestly don't know which idea I find more offensive.
1. the idea that Canada has a future as a unified nation (mass immigration has destroyed that possibility)
2. the idea that the USA will make things better somehow by making Canada a 'rump state' of the USA. You think they will just wave a magic wand and make us all US citizens?
The first idea is the result of propaganda and delusion. The second idea is a product of propaganda, apathy and laziness.
Trump is bought and paid for by foreign lobbyists. Unfortunately he turned out to be a fraud just like all the other politicians before him. I feel ashamed because I was duped into believing he was different.
People speak about Trump as if he's President for life or something. We are likely about two years away from a Democratic stranglehold on Congress, the Senate and the Presidency.
If we can't chart our own way forward as a nation and instead rely some sort of charity or mercy from our superpower neighbour (which is being destroyed in the same manner as Canada, poor fiscal management and mass immigration) then quite frankly we deserve whatever outcome we get.
The same people who are behind our demolition also pull the levers in the USA, maybe it's time to stop living in delusion.
