I'll be honest, sometimes I'll watch a trump rally in the background. The guy just says the same thing at every single rally.

Of course the USA and Trump care about Canada. If you take all the natural resources in the world and value them based on today's value then Canada is ranked 4th in the world at $33T estimated value. The USA itself is $45T. Russia itself is $75T. If the USA acquires Canada, it becomes the resource wealthiest country in the World.

The USA is for sure discussing these things. The 21st century idea that resources are unlimited and we'll innovate our way to unlimited resources has come to a close. The public hasn't been told yet but it has. Countries are back on the hunt for resources.

It's not bad here actually. Do you have some centers where they're purposely trying to overload absolutely but they're not spread out here like Canada. 51st State helps Canada streamline most of our problems. Canada's biggest problem aside from demographics is bureaucracy. Becoming the 51st State solves Canada's bureaucratic issue because all our laws would switch to American laws. For the average person, they'd hardly notice anything but for business, it would steam-line our ability to get projects done, while giving us much better trade agreements. The idea of Canada having its sovereignty such that we can fix Canada is a pipe dream. Canadians are their own worst enemies. Annexation of Canada would hugely benefit Canada and we'd actually have more "sovereignty" as Americans than we ever did as Canadians.

It won’t be possible to win the hearts and minds first. The average Canadian prior to Trump still looked down their nose at the USA. Couple that with a national case of TDS and you’ll never break through.

I would bet that even if we got all of the benefits of being a US state, the tax cuts, the changes to affordability, etc. the average person would still say they’d rather pay triple just to stick it to Trump.
