Canada’s economy stunned widespread expectations to post a massive job loss in September and the unemployment rate edged up, data showed on Friday, effectively wiping out all the jobs gains seen this year.
The economy lost a net of 68,300 jobs in September after a loss of 41,700 positions in August, Statistics Canada said. It said the unemployment level inched up to 6.5 per cent.
While September was the first full month of employment reported after a new set of U.S. tariffs hit Canada, the job losses were not significantly higher in U.S.-facing industries. On the contrary, the biggest drop came from public-sector employees, data showed.
Somehow the job losses were in the public sector.

Can we even trust stats can for anything at this point. They have been making a lot of rookie mistakes lately making me think, are those actually mistakes or intentional errors.
The immigration miscalculation come to mind. Liberals promised they would would reign in immigration and did so but only on paper. It then turned out they didn't reign it in by very much at all. Is that they only way they can keep their promises, by lying?

The interesting thing is, these mistakes are always politically expedient for their Liberal overloads and are done at strategic times when the ruling elite needs to avoid bad publicity. And what is interesting is when the correction is finally revealed, there is no back-lash.
Is it a case of the mistake making front page news but the correction being buried in the back of the paper?
Or do Canadians have the attention span of a 5 year old and once an issue stops being important to them it doesn't matter how bad the numbers are, they no longer care?

This is a question to the people on this board: As far as we know, are we the only ones who know about these corrections or do the lefties know about them but just don't care?

To conclude: I have never seen a government make so many larges mistakes in their statistics and then have to continuously keep correcting them. This is a very recent phenomena as far as I am aware. The next step is they will just start publishing fake numbers like the Soviet Union used to, and no longer correct them. If you were the Liberals, why would you ever publish the real numbers going forward if they will always be unfavourable to you and your supporters believe any and all the lies you send them anyways?

What the fuck are they trying to say here? They had widespread expectations to lose jobs and when the results came in it stunned them??

Translation: “Despite Mark Carney telling everyone how fast we’re adding jobs, we actually lost jobs. We will pretend that this is not a big deal in order to keep our government handouts”
