He “clearly reflected very, very carefully on what he wanted to say,” said the newspaper’s Canada Bureau Chief Matina Stevis-Gridneff, the article’s lead reporter.

When Carney said he had examined it out of a sense of responsibility, “I think everyone around the table understood what he meant,” Stevis-Gridneff told CTV Your Morning.

She and her colleagues asked him for specifics on what sort of actions Canada had taken to prepare, but Carney refused to do so, Stevis-Gridneff also said.

“He did not use the word ‘invasion’ to be clear, that was our word.”

Since Carney seems so prepared for events that are likely to never happen, I would like to know his plan for when gravity gets turned off and for when water flows uphill.

He doesn't expect the US to invade: he wants the Elbows Up crowd to think that's a reap possibility because he wants to drive up CAF enlistment to prepare for the war he does want to involve us in, against Russia.

Between the useless foreign chancers who are just here for the free shit and all of the pissed off, aimless, frustrated white boys, I think he'll be surprised at just how few people are willing to fight for "Canada."
 
Good? People should prepare for every possible scenario.

The big thing they're worried about though is their assets not the well-being of Canadians.

The funniest thing to me about the USA invading Canada is it would be direct parallel in all regards to Russia invading Ukraine.

People of the same race being turned against their own people by European elites. A border country with national security interests for the invading country. Significant resources in the country being invaded. People who align with the invading country being oppressed by the captured government of the country being invaded. It's a perfect parallel.
