For those who have environmentally conscious leftist friends or acquaintances, send this to them. Maybe it will get them thinking.

What struck me about this story is that it really fits the woke elite scam pattern such as:
  • You plebian need to make sacrifices for the environment so the elites like Carney can destroy the environment you saved for their own profits
  • You plebian need to make reparations for slavery (even though neither you nor any of your ancestors ever owned any slaves) while the companies of the elites like Carney still own slaves today while claiming moral superiority
