An anonymous CIBC employee has reached out to Wiretap Media with a troubling story. According to the anonymous source, the bank is eliminating Canadian contact-centre and brokerage-support jobs while moving work to lower-cost operations in India, the Philippines and Guatemala.
The employee, who asked to be identified only as anonymous John because they fear retaliation, said further waves of abrupt job eliminations have been discussed internally and are likely to continue through October to December
