The actual cost of Native Indians to Canadians

The Canadian government (all levels) spends roughly $50B/year directly to Native Indians. Yes, you read that right. $50B/year. This also doesn't include one-time extraordinary payouts. In 2024, these payouts were themselves over $10B on-top of the regular $50B. The estimated economic cost of Native Indians is about $30B/year. This is the cost the lack of development in Canada because of Native Indian bands.

The additional cost to Canada's prison and judicial system for Native Indians is about $2B/year; however, this cost will stay in place after my solution so it doesn't matter. There's also significant costs to culture and overall health of society having Native Indians integrated with us. I've seen it first hand; as the Native Indian population in a city goes up, the happiness of people goes down. They rip the joy out of any community they are significantly a part of.

Overall, the total costs to Canada for the current Native Indian system is about $80B/year (not factoring in an average for one-time payouts).

If we presume this $80B/year grows at a the rate of inflation per year, then into perpetuity, this amounts to a present value of $5.9T ($80B divided by 1.35% which is the real risk-free rate of Canada. That's essentially what the cost is in today's dollars of Native Indians in Canada.

Native Indians cost Canadians $5.9T in present dollar value.

Canada cannot ignore the Native Indian problem any longer. When we were a rich country, we could afford to ignore it. Now that we're becoming increasingly poorer we're going to have to deal with the Native Indian problem.

I often thought the open door to the third world was the long game for the government of Canada to put the native file to bed.

USA annexing us could be it too or just the country going broke. The problem is solvable. I've posted before on it. Simply do a one-time payout to all Native Indians in exchange for them voting to 100% fully integrate into Canada with all existing band land becoming a part of the crown.

A one-time $500k payout to all voting Native Indians if they vote Yes on a referendum where only the currently registered Native Indians (to vote) can vote on. It's "democratic" and it'll be difficult for leftists to argue against the results despite you essentially buying the vote.

They're too caught up in their bands to ever get integrated voluntarily. These fakirs are running the most corrupt little kingdoms imaginable as elected chiefs sitting on aboriginal "rights" lawsuits and infinite reparations monies, and they know it. That won't change until the federal laws around land claims get torn up and the bill of rights gets turfed.

The redpill of course is the White Paper by Trudeau sr to end native status should have happened without their consent. Instead we have a classic canadian solution of allowing a keep-your-cake-and-eat it dichotomy of allowing indians special rights as a pretend nation while also giving them special grievance rights and monies as shitizens of canada

@Koba If they voted no, it would be a good excuse to then annex their territories by force without giving them anything in exchange. But yeah, that wouldn't happen.

Our best bet is being conquered by an outside force.

@CaptainTrouble It's all state driven so we'd have to reverse those dictates and then undo about 40, 50 years of historical grievance literature dedicated to giving these people money.

I would say to all canadians: If you are white, leave. There is no long term destiny for you in this country

Don't forget about all the projects they make not happen. Projects they don't even bother because they know they won't agree with it. And also don't forget when they do need to build a pipeline or a highway through their shitty, stupid fucking land, the absolute billions they get from that too. So where the hell is all this money going?

Also, don't forget about the truth and reconciliation bullshit and all the stupid messaging we have to hear that has untold costs on our mental sanity.

That was factored in:

The estimated economic cost of Native Indians is about $30B/year. This is the cost the lack of development in Canada because of Native Indian bands.

There's also significant costs to culture and overall health of society having Native Indians integrated with us. I've seen it first hand; as the Native Indian population in a city goes up, the happiness of people goes down. They rip the joy out of any community they are significantly a part of.

I had a mild brainwave while looking at this thread. The failed western liberal states index. It's very simple:

1) to what percentage is a country governed by elected female representatives versus men?
2) to what percentage is the country government by visible minorities versus the native population?

Combine the two, and you have an indicator for every single failing state in the western hemisphere
