I've talked to a lot of Canadians on the other side, and they really have no idea how badly they are mistreating the province. It's based on the assumption of an a priori right of ownership and other entitled ways of thinking.
 
It's worse than that. Many Canadians believe Albertans should be punished for not believing the same values/beliefs as them. It's not an abusive relationship out of ignorance; the abusers know what they're doing and doing it on purpose.

@dontbgay well they gave Tamara Lynch a job when the government tried to destroy her life and she can't get any other job and now she works for them. She gets to travel so she gets out of the house during her house Arrests.

They were the only ones who covered the ostrich farm. Yes they ask for money a lot but they do some good work.

That white walker dude who like my post with a diagolon flag is an alcoholic from the niagra/hamilton region. That is the pattern you will always see with these con artists. They target low income, low iq, low agency. None of their stories are true at face value. Ezra, mackenzie, wycliffe, tyrie, all of them... serious lying pieces of shit. Mackenzie was not politically persecuted AT ALL EVER. Ezra makes millions off of donations and the dominion society is politcal cosplay with a membership fee.
 
@dontbgay actually it's a Calgary humane society, not the SPCA. They do a 50/50 four times a year. always buy $100 worth of tickets each time.

Mind you I can't anymore because I don't live in Calgary or Alberta.

@dontbgay I know Rebel is gay as fuck and people get blackpilled in our circles, but Rebel really kickstarted the covid resistance when they were doing coverage. It went from a fringe clownshow, to authentic rallies backed by Rebel, and then later on the more serious people not associated with them took the lead and we had the freedom convoy. But Rebel did a lot of the early groundwork and should not be discredited.

I don't care what people say. Rebel actually does really good work. That's a simple fact. They bring attention to things no other media covers, and even if you hate them and don't give them a dime, here's the great thing: you don't have to watch them, and they don't get any of your money like the other fake-ass news.

We're suing Elections Alberta for ignoring our complaint about Forever Canadian, the anti-independence referendum campaign that somehow runs a tour bus, two offices and two benefit concerts while declaring $0.00 in donations. Every pro-independence campaign has to comply with a mountain of red tape.

Why the double standard?

Our lawyers asked Associate Chief Justice Nixon for an expedited hearing, and we got it. We have to get our materials in by Wednesday. Thomas Lukaszuk and the rest of the Ottawa crew have to get their materials in two days later. Our lawsuit is moving fast!

That matters, because delay was their whole strategy. Adjourn it, reschedule it, argue it sometime after October 19, when the votes are already counted, and nothing can be fixed.

Nope — we’re moving at light speed.

Well in this case, seems like they're doing a good thing. Are they making money off at themselves of course but they also do some damn good work and help people. Besides sucks, but legal lawfare is a good way to fight back. That's just the way it is.
