So.... we have a small thaw going on with the central government where they appear to be trying to woo back the Right Wing dissident crowd. Some of this has been immigration reform, some of this has been in messaging where they'll talk about the historic Canadian nation, some of it has been in the shifting economic focus which is naturally more right wing. And perhaps, some of this may be a willingness to tolerate immigration restrictionist political groups on the margins.

This isn't new. When the NDP rose back in the 30's great depression the liberals began to grift massively off the popular promises the NDP was giving and won themselves a mandate to rule. Later under Trudeau JR they did the same thing with woke when they were on the threshold of dying. The reason why The LPC is considered the ruling party of Canada is that it's a shell for the central Canadian business class, and to keep their hold on power they've proven historically willing to bend quite a bit with the wind.

Which brings me to the awkward deliberation. Carney probably isn't a stupid ideologue type like Trudeau was, he may be someone we can do business with. He probably doesn't recognize the moral validity of ethnonationalism, or the logic of remigration, or any of the other notions floating around here. But likely he recognizes that if he doesn't win consent from people on the dissident right we may be able to win the long game and seed the movement which will kill Canada.

So there may be gains on the table to be had. Things like tacit recogniton, wins on the margins, entryism into politics, recognition of an ideological position with merits in it's own right. Using the threat of separation to geta palce at the table. In short the sort of marginal recognition historic Quebec has gotten from anglophone Canada by insisting it is distinct.

I don't want to do it, and probably most people here feel the same way. but the question is an open one to ponder. Is it worth it to try a rapprochement with Carnie?

Same old, same old. Give an inch, take a mile. It's a strategy used in politics for centuries. Carney is just employing it because he can. Trudeau would never be able to sell this propaganda but Carney can. PhD Economics. Old White Man. Part of the Old Boys Banker Club. The idea that he's truly conservative and is nothing more than a closet conservative masquerading around as a liberal is what is expected of him so this strategy plays right into Carney's strengths.

The reality is that Carney might very well be a bigger liberal than Trudeau. Trudeau was a college-liberal who lived a silver-spoonfed life where he could act like a feminist and bang 15 year old girls at private rich kid parties. His extent of being liberal was just for a pussy-pass and to fit-in among his peers. Carney on the other hand is a full blown roundtable liberal who is trying to push the equality-decadence on Western society in order to bring in the Idealistic Liberal Utopian New World Order. Carney is a militant academic liberal who is fully pledged to the cause whereas Trudeau was a frat boy liberal.

If you read Carney's Value(s) book (I have read it carefully, in full) you'll realize that Carney envisions himself as somewhat like a God. If not God then he sees himself at least as a leader among technocrats who is unquestionably superior to the peasant-class. He fully believes that he must lead civilization along his course or it will perish and he'll stop at nothing to accomplish his aims.

He's far more liberal than Trudeau and a far more dangerous liberal than Trudeau ever was.

I've not examined any of his ideological writings. What specific tenets does he actually believe in of the trudeauist silo of policies? Open borders/mass migration? Is this like a Fukuyama consensus guy, or is he more on the full woke end of social engineering policy?

The Trudeau government definitely had some really dangerous ideas moving around behind the stupid finger puppet. I do think prior to the covid mishap they were entirely onboard with the same path that was ended up in the great reset/you vill own nothing hypebubble.
 
He says 2% inflation is too low and he wants higher inflation. I don't think he gives an exact number but I suspect he simply wants to spend as much money as he can and doesn't care what its impact is to inflation. He says interest rates need to rise.

He says ALL future industrial development must be done with Net Zero carbon emissions in mind no matter how this is accomplished. He says no new project in Canada should be approved unless its net emissions will be 0.

He also quotes Karl Marx once and refers to him directly 4 times; therefore, he ultimately credits Karl Marx 5 times in his book. That's the most instances of any person he credits. I've written "books" (not published) and many manuscripts (let's call them that) from time-to-time. I have never once quoted Karl Marx or even reference him. Why? Because Karl Marx is a hack. He contributed nothing of value to anything. Nearly everything he projected as "fact" about capitalism's decadence is actually the end-result of socialism (communism). He did not understand cause-and-effect at all. I tend to stand in the camp that Marx was an idiot whose work was utilized by non-idiots to push their political agendas. In any case, my point is, the fact Carney references Marx (and in a positive manner) 5 times in his work is dangerous. This should be a red flag of red flags. Carney is a communist through-and-through. Nothing good can come from his leadership.

But I feel like some pariah standing on a desert hill trying to signal people from the civilization that rejected me of the horror that awaits them if they continue along this path. I seriously think 99% of the people who voted for Carney never read his book and won't believe anything I said about it while I'm out here on this hill of sand trying to get them to listen. I almost feel like the book he had written was his way of rubbing it on the faces of the peasant-class. No one reads and he knows it. The book is a humiliation ritual and proof that the peasant-class deserves what comes next. I also think in his mind if there's any semblance of good still trapped in there that by making the book he absolves himself of any guilt for what he does next because he clearly said what he was going to do and got voted in (given a mandate). But realistically no one understands the book save a few. I've had some average normies attempt to read the book and they give up because it's shrouded in a few larger words than the romance novels they're used to reading if they read anything at all.

Make it feel cozier for ya. Would you like me just enough that I can get a majority? What if I throw in a free (paid by your tax dollars) Tim Hortons donut?”
 
All Carney has done so far is to say he is listening and implement a few of the "well no fucking shit" policies that anyone with half a brain has been saying needs to be done. He is a breath of fresh air compared to Justin Trudeau, but that is like getting that first breath of air after leaving a burning building. Long term we do not know what any of his goals are, he still has a track record of being a one world order ideologue, and has shown no signs to the contrary yet.
