Nuclear war A-list

Civil defence planners in 1954 proposed drawing up a “brains and skill” A-list of gifted Canadians to be saved in case of nuclear war, newly-declassified records show. People whose intelligence was deemed essential would help rebuild a postwar world, said a secret memo: “Special facilities should be provided to preserve the lives of persons whose intelligence and experience may be essential.”
I don’t subscribe to Blacklock’s, but that’s a pretty tantalizing article description. I don’t know how anyone on the A-list could be saved in modern Canada given the state of the CAF.

How many FCW regulars would be on this list?

Could have just said "politicians and their friends" but ofc they have to dress it up in a manner the Canadian-sheeple will accept as to why they aren't included on the list and why politicians and their friends should be.
