Is Trump a Commie now?

They're independently owned. It's just local gas stations being allowed to rebrand as part of a network of low-cost gas stations selling gas cheap. It's a free enterprise move but Trump is using his power as president to brand and market the thing. Which is fine... There's much better examples of Trump being a communist like increasing spending and not reducing taxes.

Yes, it's part of the America's 250th birthday. It's just a stupid gimmick gas station signed up to be a part of. Fuck man. Even the Canadians in here like the clutch at their pearls when it comes to America.

They did renew the first tax code that he passed the one his first term. So technically he did cut taxes cuz they would have gone back up if they didn't renew that.

I mean honestly though 3.47 for a fucking gallon of gas is nothing to brag about in my opinion.

Now if you want you can say this is unfair competition because Trump is promoting certain stations over others.

Something else... dunno

Overall Strategic PictureThis is “peace through strength” executed transactionally:

  • Short-term: Give Ukraine tools to defend itself better and impose costs on Russia.
  • Medium-term: Use that pressure as leverage for talks.
  • Long-term: Reduce America’s direct financial and political burden by helping Ukraine build its own industrial capacity.
It’s consistent with Trump’s broader foreign policy pattern (seen in other deals): avoid open-ended commitments, use economic/military pressure as a bargaining chip, and position the U.S. as the indispensable broker who can deliver the off-ramp.Potential risks (for balance):

  • Russia could respond with further escalation rather than negotiation.
  • Production licenses take time to ramp up — this isn’t an immediate fix for current interceptor shortages.
  • The exact terms of any eventual deal (territories, security guarantees, neutrality, etc.) will determine whether it’s seen as success or compromise.
, using Sun Tzu-style indirect strategy to try to end a war neither side can easily “win” outright on the current trajectory. Whether it works depends on execution, Russian calculations, and what both sides ultimately accept at the table.
