At one point I knew some people who grew up there, and it was worse than the stories.

If I had like a few billions, I would buy up condos all over Canada then jack up the price and wait until the government is stupid enough to buy them.

There's a cluster of luxury apartments near me where I've observed only foreigners who would be destitute seem to be living in them. They drive fancy suvs as well. It has to be on the government dime.
