In reality, 'hate speech' is simply any speech that the government hates.

They try to cloak themselves in virtue and proclaim themselves supporters of 'human rights' and 'democracy' but these are empty words.

Always has been to. Free speech ought to mean ALL speech. No exceptions. Except life threats should be allowed; however, if people want to react to being threatened that should also be allowed. The less the government controls people, the better.
