Big frenly fren. Much wow!
He was against the dam from the very beginning. Even held up a protest sign saying "This Dam Sucks!"
What a perfect way to recognize the person who locked us all down during Covid. Absolutely prestigious.

Eby says it was a complicated decision to rename the dam after Horgan, and if he were alive today he wouldn’t have allowed anything to be renamed after him...
Eby says naming the John Horgan Dam and Generating Station reflects the nuance and the challenging decisions that confronted Horgan in his time...

John Horgan was right about the project the whole way through.

If they really wanted a smart name for it, they'd have called it John Horgan Truth and Reconciliation Dam. To anyone in the public, it just sounds like some native shout out with John Horgan's name on it and that's officially what it would be but the Truth and Reconciliation would actually stand for John Horgan being right (truth) about the project and the reconciliation is him continuing along with the project because of all the money already invested into it when he decided to renew the approval. In this way, they'd actually be honoring John Horgan while naming the dam he hated after him because they'd have effectively named it the John Horgan was right about this dam, dam. But, we don't have smart people in government to do anything smart.

I don't know if that's stupid or clever.
