I can't imagine journalism teaching anything useful. I remember reading studies that journalist majors both have the lowest IQ of all majors and they have the least amount of sex (seems surprising but this isn't number of sexual partners, it's frequency of consistent sex). Farmers were number 1 on the sex thing. Either way, sounds like journalists are stupid incels.

Just get a degree in Statistics with a minor in History and take some Econ courses. Perfect for journalism. Why does anything need anything else? Oh, wait... journalists can't actually get this sort of degree because they're stupid. Just skip the degree and get AI to write everything.

From experience: think of the dodgiest, most grasping, venal, least sincere and not-terribly-bright or trustworthy person you know in your social circles. That describes every journalist I've ever known.

I remember someone once saying that the defining characteristic of journalists is that they imagine themselves to be part of the power structure even though they actually have very little power and even less money, so their inclination is to affect a pose of superiority over ordinary people while sucking up to the elites in a (usually futile) hope of currying favour and advancing their careers
