Best case scenario: Carney believes if another election is called, there's a significant chance the CPC take a majority. Many liberals are dissatisfied with Carney's performance so far. To fix Canada's economy, Carney needs the CPC but the problem is, he'll screw over the NDP. If a non-confidence vote happens, even if the CPC agree with Carney on economic policy, they'll end the government for a chance to get into government. This means Carney can't actually do anything to fix the economy without a majority. If Carney forms a coalition with the conservatives, he'll be absolutely hated by his party.

Worst case scenario: Carney is planning some globalist policies that he needs a majority for to pass.
