Conestoga College has completed the layoff of 400 employees as the school continues to adjust to declining international student enrolment.

Conestoga College has completed the layoff of nearly 400 employees as of last week as the school continues to adjust to declining international student enrolment.

In addition to a steep decline in international student enrolment, Koff said that the school’s financial woes could be down to mismanagement and the fact that Conestoga College runs 12 campuses across Ontario.

Why is this country still allowing international students entry for 2-year technical degrees? Glad to see the scam colleges failing but I can’t hate them for exploiting the game the Liberals created.

George Brown in Toronto also just announced another large round of cuts. The unis are next, and it will be glorious (and I say that having worked at two large universities for more than ten years).
