The USA is significantly superior to Canada if you're a productive member of society but if you're an unproductive member of society then Canada slightly edges out the USA. Most leftists aren't productive members of society so Canada is great for them. Every person I've ever known who moved to the USA from Canada then moved back never had a real job. Anyone with a real job who moved to the USA will never be seen in Canada ever again.
