When I was in high school in 2005-2009 a lot of my white peers adopted Somalian and Arab slang words, and speech cadences.
I'd imagine it is worse now.
And this was not in a migrant heavy area like Mississauga or Brampton, it was like a 90% white school

i spent 3 years in Toronto when I was young. My mother moved us to Toronto from Thunder Bay when I was 10 and didn't know fuck all about the place, moved our asses to Regent Park.
Even with an abundance of Jamaicans about the white kids didn't talk like or emulate them. Something happened in the summer of 97 because the wigger infestation exploded. For all the time I personally spent hanging around Jamaicans I never once had the urge to talk or dress like them.

@Trudeaus coke dealer: Same. I lived among blacks in the GTA during the 80s and hung out with them sometimes but we always retained our separate speech patterns. That said, most of the blacks had Jamaican parents who wanted them to speak proper English; only a few would affect the patois to seem "hard"
