The bill was defeated at first reading after members of all other parties voted against it.
OneBC leader Dallas Brodie introduced a bill Thursday aimed at preventing public institutions from performing land acknowledgements.

The "Land Acknowledgement Prohibition Act" was defeated at first reading after members of the BC NDP, BC Greens, and BC Conservatives voted against it.

Of course all other parties voted against this, even the cons are so woke.

I think we will be stuck with the commies for a long time sad to say. OneBC will siphon off enough or more than enough con votes to keep Dear Leader General Secretary of the BC Workers Party and CCP lackey, Great Comrade Eby in power.

The BC cuckservatives are probably going to collapse as a fifth member yesterday left the party. The party board asked Rustad to resign but he will not. Been turmoil in that party just after last election. I bet we will see more leave by Christmas.

'Conservative' parties in this country are nothing but commie light....

Does B.C mean Being Communist?

I know of people who can’t afford to own a home in B.C. but won’t consider moving to Alberta because the unemployed husband “doesn’t like Alberta”.

Being Communist, indeed.

You are literally correct in this case, since quite a few MLAs including Rustad himself came from BC United, formerly the BC Liberal Party. They’re all diet liberals.

It’s ironic that John Rustad revived the BC Conservative Party only to eventually kill it later.

Most of these land acknowledgments are a lie anyway. Someone actually bothered to look into our local history and it turns out it was in fact ceded land.

Ceded or not, Europe came to the Americas and conquered the inhabitants. This is normal human behavior all throughout history and I don't feel bad about it.

Should the Anglo-Saxons give land acknowledgements to the Britons? The Franks to the Celts? The Turks to the Greeks? The Chinese to the Tibetans?

Of course not. It's all about making white people hate themselves and guide us into our own destruction.

@Hirudinea: I remember many years ago there was an article on the CBC website (back when its comment sections were still open) about some protest at Six Nations where the Mohawks were pictured under a banner mentioning "stolen land". I wrote a reply that they should know all about it because they'd stolen the Six Nations area from the Hurons they genocided centuries ago... that comment spent a long time in moderation, but eventually they allowed it to be posted
