This is actually a big problem with old people. Old people aren't in schools, they aren't struggling to get jobs in entry-level fields, they aren't going out to bars/clubs with young people, they aren't joining hobbies for young people, they don't live in busy neighborhoods DT or they didn't just buy their first starter home, etc...

Old people actually have 0 clue that Canada isn't 90% White because old people live in White people bubbles. I've seen it first hand with my boomer liberal parents. They watch TV all day and don't actually go anywhere except the grocery store. Their idea of Canada is what Canada was in the 1990s. They have no clue what Canada is like today.

There is very limited set of circumstances where you should comply with a criminal. I had to explain this to my wife because she surprisingly didn't get it right when I asked her what she would do in a variety of scenarios.

If you are out in public and get held up with a gun for your wallet, I would say comply unless, you are 100% sure you can take them out before being shot.

If you are you in public and someone tries to kidnap you, do not comply. Assume you will be tortured and killed, so try to get away or fight while you have the opportunity.

If someone breaks into your house, it's killed or be killed. Complying is a ludicrous notion.

If the intruder is escaping, I probably wouldn't recommend chasing them down to shoot or stab them on your front lawn. They deserve it, but I probably wouldn't risk it.

I think it's worthwhile to briefly consider these situations with your loved ones. Could save their lives.
