Hi everyone, I'm new here. I was referred here by a friend of mine irl from Calgary. I'm living in BC now though.
I just wanted to understand everyone's reasoning for caring about politics. Is it money, women, a sense of duty, wanting a better life for your kids, wanting to buy a house, wanting a better job, wanting a safer society, feeling oppressed, etc...
I feel for me personally, the reason I care about politics is I've always wanted to start a family but I'm single and I believe a large part of why I'm single is the government's impact on society through its laws. I think the government is making it increasingly more difficult to start a family these days.
