Carney’s authoritarian streak

He has his majority now.

Two more weeks.

Nothing ever happens, true. But I do note that having not come up the ranks, no one owes him anything, and MPs are seemingly all backstabbing petty self-aggrandizing nihilists.

This is the part that bothers me so much about Canadian politics.

I read Carney's Value(s) book and I knew instantly he was an authoritarian. He believes in the large centralized power of the state and believes that he, as a technocrat, knows what's best for everyone so he wants a large government for him to dictate what is best for everyone. This is obvious in his book and it has been obvious in the way he has presented himself every step of the way.

Yet, after the BC leader, Kerry-Lynne Findlay, was elected I spoke to some leftist BCers and they told me they don't like Findlay because she's an authoritarian. I asked if they liked Carney and they said yes, they really like him. I said but he's an authoritarian and Findlary's literal first policy mentioned on her website is increasing freedoms for BCers. How is she an authoritarian? At the end of the day, the reason the BCers thought she was an authoritarian is because that's what the experts on CBC/CTV said. She was a far-right extremist and all far-right wing people are authoritarians so she's an authoritarian. But what about Carney? He's apparently a centrist and not an authoritarian because he's not right-wing.

That's the level of political understand these people I spoke to had and they were adults, boomers, precisely... According to these Canadians: Carney acts like an authoritarian but he's not one because he's not right-wing. Findlay doesn't act like an authoritarian (in fast she acts like the opposite of one) but she's an authoritarian because she's a far-right extremist.

I'd be fine with centralization if the feedback formula for how politics is processed and integrated wasn't so clearly dysfunctional. It is merely a facade to say that the rural population has any say on what the government does, Carney's liberals do the act of feigned concern and consult, and then try to dramatically upend or destroy the ways of life and values they just heard about. It's similar to the pattern of how Russia does politics, with Moscow being the real power behind government and the hinterland being mere imperial satraps

Same for the people who were brainwashed by the media back in 2015 to think that Stephen Harper was a "tyrant", only for his successor to implement various authoritarian agendas such as the Covid repression and the use of the Emergency Act to deal with the inevitable protests against that repression. Anyone who watches and trusts the mainstream media is practically a mindless zombie at this point

I said this was going to happen. The guy is used to calling the shots, and all the little MPs are going to do what the hell they're told, or he's going to give them the boot. Or they're going to be told to shut the hell up. I said it before they really seem to think they're important little celebrities from when they were working under PM retard.

Is anyone surprised? Perhaps only the dipshits who voted for this cretin.

He's the literal embodiment of Mr. Burns - a greedy, Goldman Sachs bankster who's been calling the shots since Juthtin's tenure, with the lone goal to get his, fuck everyone else. He's a sociopathic, ideological suitdummy who's shallow as a puddle of piss but not nearly as warm. Fuck him and the ground he slithers on!

For the most part, leftists can only see authoritarianism on the right. On their own side, they’d simply call it ‘spreading positive values,’ doing what is necessary to ‘safeguard our democracy,’ or some other delusional platitude. The fact that some of them can apparently see something excessive on their own side can only be a good thing, though I won’t hold my breath.

Russian man does a protest march after mistreatment by the government, gets disrupted by secret police ops and jailed using pretext

Hey check it out, it's the Russian Freedom Convoy. The government MO and outcome was exactly the same! The way Carney is ruling is in line with counter-insurgency strategies to oppress the population. The phrase is shape, clear, hold, build, transition. You can clearly see this if you begin inspecting the governing rationale

Shape: "CaNaDa has always been a multicultural nation! It's always been a post national country, it's always been a liberal values dictatorship! This is who we are!"

Hold: "...If you say otherwise we will torture you and jail you, and you will have no rights"

Build: "CaNaDa to set up new security infrastructure and to give police sweeping detention laws for political and speech crimes. Digital ID will also help. We're building digital DeMoCrAcY and saving our ChIlDrEn"

Transition: "We need total population replacement, and the institution of liberal values training at every level of civil society to become the tolerant, inclusive country CaNaDa has always been. We can't tolerate democratic pushback in our free liberal society"

In other words, at complete war with us. Also consider the use of chilling effect strategies, redirection strategies (so dissidents don't protest but instead conform), and the use of limited hangout groups like the meme reddit immigration protests they were trying to run a few years back. Modern Canada is simply a veiled dictatorship where politics is solely an elite exercise within the liberal communist party.

Not only is he unable to construct a single coherent sentence, nothing about this skinwalker is likeable in any sense. He’s a rambling, down-talking elitist narcissist.

My guess is that, by comparison to his faggot-clown predecessor, he looks relatively measured in comparison.

because he's used to speaking, he's not used to ever being interrupted to having to answer any type of questions. Like most CEOs and big bosses, he can say the dumbest shit imaginable and people would never, ever talk up or ask him any questions about it.
