Completely garbage. It's a parents job to control what their kids are doing online. These government retards seriously need to quit overstepping their role. They get no say; it's parents that decide for their kids.
Don't get me wrong, my kids won't be using garbage social media while living in my house. They will be able to use AI to some extent in limited ways. Mainly, I will requre them to think things through and solve problems on their own always first. AI will be used in some cases like a calculator was used when I was a kid: to verify the answer.
I'm sorry that some parents are so retarded that they let their kids rot their mind, but that doesn't mean government gets to come in and decide things. It's like parents who feed their kids tons of junk food. Ever seen a fat parent out with fat kids in public? It's sad for the kid. They should be being fed healthy food and partaking in numerous physical activities. A fat kid shouldn't be a thing. But just because a kid shouldn't be fat, it would be ridiculous for government to try to control the diet of kids. These government people need to fuck off.
And I laugh at parents who try to tell me me things like "you'll see when their older". First of all, I'm not some weak pussy whose kids can walk all over. Second, my relationship with my kids will remain great. Even if they can't cognitively understand my reasoning for forbidding something their dumb friends do, they will understand Dad always has their best intentions in mind - even though they may not like it. I'm also not going to hide what's out their from them. They will get to see shit like social media under my supervision, and I will point out what the harm actually is. It's really not hard.
If the public schools want to ban social media, AI, cell phones, etc. in schools, I'm fine with that. That comes down to acceptable rules to have well functioning education without distraction. But outside of the public school doors is where it ends.
