I half-remember hearing a long time ago that they did a study on nicotine and cancers and although it does cause some cancers, especially lung cancer, it actually caused a small reduction in ovarian cancer! Smoking isn't good and nicotine probably isn't too good either but you never know what advantages it might have if you don't look.
