Anyone who hasn't been to the financial district in Toronto in the past fifteen or twenty years would be surprised: aside from a few remaining white boomer executives, the vast majority of workers down there are brown and Asian. You can stand in the PATH at First Canadian Place at around 8:30am and see virtually nothing but jeets and Chinese coming from Union Station. The whites you do see are either in trading or if they're women, in law and marketing.
