@RightOfSask they say it best they wanted to limit the ability for the department of war and the president to do their job or act. They wanted the keys to the kingdom. Imagine a private company being in charge of the executive branch. They deserve what they get

Think logically the department of wars is going to disable the very system they say the department of war will use surveil citizens. The Ai isnt self removing. What in a fever dream are you talking about? The Department of War even stated that Anthropic could stay if they removed the restrictions on mass surveillance and autonomous weapons. So how is that "overridden by the AI system"?

And they are not disabling it. Palantir has been recently rewarded with several non-bid contracts by the Department of War for dozens of billions. Their only product is mass surveillance. And they got a NO-BID CONTRACT for that shit. Literally the opposite of everything you say is true.

It's funny how you're taking about the Pentagon is "removing these system", but it's only Anthropic they removed. All the other AI companies are now deeply routed within the Department of War. OpenAI just announced today that they now have access to classified information in the Department of War.
 
When you think about it the US has a department called “the department of war”. Besides the ai shit that should be alarming.

The ironic part is we have global ai that could be used to lift humanity out of the hole we are in and yet these so called “elites” want to push us further into the modern dark ages.
