getting rid of illegal mmmgrants once and for all / permanently

Now if they could do that up here but also verify that these fakers maintained the required amount of funds in their account. Or were required to have it held in escrow while here. That'd get rid of nearly all of them.
Is it still $10k? Or was it never enforced/checked in the first place?
