Posting this more for their addressing how other nations define what it is to be a citizen of those nations, against the dialectic of peoples from those nation, to change the definition of what a Canadian is in order to justify their presence in Canada, or in other western nations. Notable is India's dual citizenship law where Indian citizens cannot possess dual citizenships except for uncommon/rare instances. In other words once Indians get citizenship in Canada they lose their citizenship in India. If you want them returned you need to strip them of what was given.
