Sorry for facebook post but if true this is amazing as the ATA cant give the teachers strike pay. Smith needs to hammer them hard this simply put is corruption at its highest and the board needs to resign.

The ATA needs to be held accountable for what is most kikely another partisan attack on the UCP and is hurting everyday Albertans and kids everywhere all for political points

They laughed when they thought AI would be the death knell for the blue collars. Now that it appears white collars are the first on the chopping block the Luddites want to regulate AI into uselessness.

That's ok though because they can be retrained. Plenty of stone masons in need of a good tender.

You don't even need AI to replace teachers. Udemy for kids - all of the lessons can be recorded and uploaded. Kids can complete the online courses and take the test at a supervised location. Homework can be uploaded to the server for review.

Its hilarious that in the private sector, kiosks show up and people lose their jobs. But in the public sector, they expect special exclusion because they feel entitled.

Another option is to funnel that money directly to parents so that one of them can stay home and teach their kids. Of course this won't work as well because most parents have kids as 'trophies' to show off on Facebook and in reality try to dump them in daycare/school/whatever as much as possible so they don't actually have to deal with raising them.

Teachers don't teach kids to think anymore they teach them what to think. Most need to be fried anyway so use this as a purge. This BS people supporting public workers just cause pisses me the fuck off.
