NDP have been nothing more but a false front for what they once were. The real NDP ceased to exist when Layton died. Never been a NDP fan, but he actually carried himself like a party leader that had a voice. Has ANYONE in Canada, besides himself, given anything Jagmeet has ever said any credibility? Right.
 
Look at the political class as a whole, from the last say, 10 years.

Layton seemed like a joke, from the 80s to his death, but in comparison to today's crop he's like an elder statesmen. This is how Carney won the election. Boomers were growing weary of this clownshow and voted for him accordingly.

PS @Jack Layton didn't die, he saw the error of his ways, faked his death and hangs out on here now.
 
Actually pretty smart for the Liberals. Get the sister party to cater to the small percentage of weirdos so they don't have to, winning back regular people.
 
Just like the Tories, the NDP have to be controlled opposition at this point. There's no other explanation for their ongoing self-destruction

@ChevChelios Just because someone wears a Maple Leafs jersey doesn't mean they are on the team. Plenty of losers think progressive politics will get them a seat at the table. I don't think anybody wants to share a table with the average NDPer.
 
@Trudeaus coke dealer: What if the old joke about the Liberals being the "natural governing party" of Canada is correct and the job of the Tories and the NDP is to contain and neutralize right- and left-wing opposition, respectively? Both parties have obviously failed their core constituencies by cheering on mass immigration in order to keep house prices high and wages low
 
Many years ago I read the CIA factbook and they said at the time the NDP was a mickey mouse party.

They are a clown party and probably have a lot of creepy and mentally ill types in their party too.
